Watergate Cake


Servings: 1
Ingredients: 

  • 1    Box (2 layer size) white or
    • 

  • - Yellow cake mix
    • 

  • 1    Small pkg instant pistachio
    • 

  • - Pudding mix
    • 

  • 4    Eggs
    • 

  • 1 c  7-up soda
    • 

  • 1 c  Oil
    • 

  • 1 ts Vanilla or almond extract
    •

Blend ingredients in large mixer bowl; beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Bake
in greased and floured Bundt pan or tube @ 350 degrees 50 to 55 minutes,
until cake springs back when lightly pressed and begins to pull away from
sides of pan. Do not under bake. Cool in pan 15 minutes; remove and cool on
rack. Frost with Pistachio-Cream Cheese Frosting.

    I have a recipe for a frosting for Watergate cake…No Cream Cheese though….

    1 large box of “Dream Whip”
    1 large box of instant pistachio pudding mix
    2/3 cup “7 Up”
    2/3 cup colc milk
