Neither Cake Nor Candy (Brownies)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2    Chocolate, unsweetened, squa
  • -e
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 1 c  Sugar
  • 2    Egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 c  Flour
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 1/2 c  Raisins, chopped
  • 1/2 c  Nuts, chopped

Melt chocolate and butter together over hot water. Add the sugar and
vanilla; mix well. Then add the well beaten eggs. Sift the flour and
stir in with the nuts and raisins. Bake in a well-greased shallow pan
at 350-F for 20 minutes. When cool, cut in squares.
