Cheese Chips


Servings: 6
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c  All purpose flour;                    pn Curry powder;
  • 1/2 c  Whole wheat flour;                    pn Salt;
  • 1/2 c  Parmesan cheese; grated             2 tb Butter;
  • 1/2 ts Baking powder;                      1 md Egg; lightly beaten
  • pn Pepper;                             2 tb Water;

Reserve 1 tablespoon of the all purpose flour for flouring board. In a
bowl, combine remaining all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, cheese,
baking powder, pepper, curry, and salt. With 2 knives, cut in butter until
mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine egg and water; stir into flour
mixture until mixture can be gathered into a ball of dough. Knead dough on
a lightly floured board 5-6 strokes. Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut
into 2 inch triangles. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until
lightly browned.
