Dill Pickles

Ingredients:

  • 1 qt Cider vinegar                       1 c  Pickling salt
  • 3 qt Cold water

1 lg Clove garlic 1 sm Red pepper - optional
2 Heads dill Small cucumbers

Sterilize quart 0jars….Pack the garlic, dill, red pepper and small
cucumbers into the hot sterilized jars.
Bring brine to boil and pour over packed quart jars; seal immediately.
Let age 2 months.
Hard water makes soft pickles; soft water makes crispy pickles. These
pickles were blue ribbon winners at a fair.
