DON’S TURKEY MYSTERY*


Servings: 6
Ingredients: 

  • 2 c  Turkey pieces
    • 

  • 3 tb Soy sauce
    • 

  • 1/2 ts White pepper, ground
    • 

  • 3/4 c  Onion, chopped
    • 

  • 1 ea Garlic clove, minced
    • 

  • 1 1/2 c  Stewed tomatos, sliced
    • 

  • 1/4 c  Celery, sliced
    • 

  • 1/4 c  Raisins
    • 

  • 1/2 c  Pineapple chunks
    • 

  • 1 c  Vermicelli, cooked
    • 

  • 3 tb Corn oil or peanut oil
    •

Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet. Add onions and celery and saute’intil
onions start to turn trans- luscent. Add turkey, raisins, tomatos, soy
sauce and vermicelli. Stir well and cover. Cook for 5 minutes then add the
raisins. Cook covered for 5 more minutes and serve.
