Ingredients:

  • 1 tb Butter                            1/2 ts Black pepper
  • 1/2 ts Chili powder                      2/3 c  Converted rice
  • 1/2 ts Paprika                         1 1/3 c  Water
  • 1/2 ts Salt

In a saucepan, melt butter, Add spices. Stir in rice and water. Bring to a
boil. Reduce heat to low, simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Remove from heat
and let stand for 5 minutes. Makes 2 cups.
Each 1/2 cup serving= 144 calories, 2 g protein, 3 g fat, 26 g carbs, 305
mg sodium, 8 mg chol.
