Cream Of Onion Soup


Servings: 6
Ingredients:

  • 2 md Onions, chopped very fine
  • 1/4 c  Butter
  • 1/2 c  Flour
  • 1 cn Clear chicken broth
  • 1 lg Can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c  Water
  • 1/2 ts Thyme
  • 2    Bay leaves
  • 1/2 ts Salt

Saute onions in butter until tender. Mix flour and chicken broth and add
to onion mixture. Add milk, water, and other ingredients. Cook slowly for
20 minutes.
