Mushroom And Tomato Sauce


Servings: 4
Ingredients:

  • 1/4 c  Olive oil
  • 4 ea Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 ea Handful fresh parsley,
  • -- finely chopped
  • 1 ts Marjoram
  • 1 lb Sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c  Canned plum tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan and cook the garlic, parsley and marjoram
for 1 minute. Add sliced mushrooms and cook over moderate heat for 5
minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook over high heat for 8 to 10
minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken.

Serve over 1lb pasta.
